As part of the National Agricultural Development Scheme (RKVY), the Founder of WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation, Mr. Jitendra Kumar Verma, participated in a two-day scientific agricultural training programme focused on modern farming technologies, horticulture management, and integrated pest management. The initiative reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing farmers’ knowledge, increasing agricultural productivity, and promoting sustainable rural development.
The training covered several important aspects of sustainable agriculture, including modern cultivation techniques, horticulture management, integrated pest management, and climate-resilient farming practices. Experts emphasized the importance of adopting scientific methods to improve crop productivity, reduce cultivation costs, and ensure long-term sustainability in agriculture.
During the programme, Mr. Verma interacted with agricultural scientists, technical experts, and representatives from various institutions, exchanging ideas and learning about emerging technologies and best practices in the agricultural sector. The discussions focused on bridging the gap between scientific research and field-level implementation so that farmers can directly benefit from modern innovations.
The Foundation believes that empowering farmers with scientific knowledge is one of the most effective ways to improve their livelihoods. By connecting rural communities with agricultural experts and research institutions, WCSF aims to enhance farmers’ capacities, strengthen horticulture-based livelihoods, and encourage the adoption of sustainable and environmentally responsible farming techniques.
WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation remains committed to the empowerment of farmers, women, and rural communities through training, awareness programmes, skill development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. The organization will continue collaborating with agricultural institutions and government agencies to ensure that the latest scientific advancements reach the grassroots level and contribute to the vision of a prosperous and self-reliant rural India.
