WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program in Rahe Panchayat, Village Rahe, under Rahe Block of Ranchi District with the aim of promoting menstrual health, dignity, and awareness among women and adolescent girls. The program was led by Block Coordinator Ms. Surbala Devi, whose guidance and leadership ensured active community participation and meaningful engagement throughout the session. Along with the awareness drive, the selection of new Panchayat Mahila Mitras was carried out to strengthen grassroots-level support systems and ensure continuous outreach on women’s health and rights. A Period Pathshala session was conducted during the program, where women and girls were sensitized about menstrual hygiene, safe practices, myths associated with menstruation, and the importance of health and cleanliness through open dialogue and interaction. To further support menstrual health management, Urja Menstrual Care Pads were distributed among the participants, enabling them to adopt safe and hygienic menstrual practices with confidence and dignity. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to empowering women, improving community health awareness, and fostering sustainable change at the village level.
