Under Road Safety Month–2026, in accordance with the directions of the District Transport Department, Simdega, and under the guidance of the District Transport Officer, Simdega, WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation organized a Road Safety Awareness Program today at Thethetangar Market and Salgadih area. The program was conducted with the objective of sensitizing common citizens, vehicle drivers, shopkeepers, and pedestrians about road safety rules and encouraging safe, disciplined, and responsible traffic behavior. The event witnessed wide participation from local residents, reflecting strong public engagement.

During the program, awareness messages related to road safety were delivered through street plays and interactive performances based on social themes. These presentations effectively highlighted the mandatory use of helmets and seat belts, the importance of avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol, adherence to prescribed speed limits, respect for traffic signals, and essential precautions required to prevent road accidents. The messages were conveyed in a simple, practical, and locally understandable manner, enabling the audience to easily relate to the situations presented and seriously reflect on their responsibilities toward road safety.

The awareness program was led by the Founder of WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation, Jitendra Kumar Verma, whose guidance and coordination ensured the smooth and effective execution of the event. Under his leadership, the organization’s team members and artists worked collectively to deliver road safety messages directly to the community in an impactful manner.

The joint efforts of the District Transport Department, Simdega, and WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation resulted in the peaceful, well-organized, and successful completion of the program. The initiative contributed significantly to strengthening positive attitudes, public awareness, and a sense of social responsibility toward road safety at the local level, reinforcing the importance of collective action in preventing road accidents and protecting human lives.
