With the objective of generating local employment and strengthening community-based development, WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation organized a well-structured interview and selection process at its branch office in Karra Block. The initiative aimed to connect local youth and women with dignified livelihood opportunities within their own region, thereby reducing migration and promoting self-reliance.
A total of 30 candidates participated in the interview process. Each applicant was assessed on the basis of qualifications, experience, role suitability, and understanding of local community needs. Following a detailed evaluation, candidates were selected for key grassroots positions, including 2 Block Coordinators, 1 Tailoring Teacher, 25 Panchayat Mahila Mitras, and 4 Salesmen. These roles are critical for effective implementation of community programs and last-mile service delivery.
The interviews were conducted by a dedicated Interview Board comprising Ms. Priyanka Kumari, Ms. Jayshinta Guriya, and Ms. Ailne Guriya, who engaged closely with each candidate to understand their skills, commitment, and readiness to work at the community level. Candidates were also oriented about the organization’s vision, mission, work culture, and responsibilities associated with their respective roles.
This initiative reflects WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation’s strong belief that local development begins with local opportunities. By enabling youth and women to work within their own communities, the Foundation continues to promote inclusive growth, women empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods, contributing meaningfully to long-term social transformation at the grassroots level.
