WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation successfully organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program in Rahe Panchayat, Village Rahe, under Rahe Block of Ranchi District, with the aim of promoting menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity among women and adolescent girls. The program was led by Block Coordinator Ms. Surbala Devi, whose guidance ensured active community participation and meaningful engagement.
During the initiative, new Panchayat Mahila Mitras were selected to strengthen grassroots leadership and ensure sustained outreach on women’s health issues. A Period Pathshala session created a safe and open space for dialogue, helping participants understand menstrual hygiene, dispel myths, and adopt healthy practices with confidence. To further support safe menstrual management, Urja Menstrual Care Pads were distributed among the women and girls, reinforcing dignity, comfort, and well-being.
This initiative reflects our continued commitment to empowering women, improving community health awareness, and driving sustainable change at the grassroots level.
